NATURAL PERSONS (Unlimited Company)

Someone who runs a commercial enterprise even partially on its behalf is called trader. (Turkish Commercial Code Article 12). Natural person consists of name and surname of the trader which is written without abridging commercial name. Additions might be made in accordance with 46^th Article of Turkish Commercial Code. Plural suffixes giving an impression of existence of partnership, names of other people and foreign words should not be used in the title.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Commercial name might be determined freely on condition that expressions showing field of operation and company type are in Turkish.
• Expressions in the commercial name must not lead to misunderstanding about identity of the trader, company width, importance and financial situation in third parties and contrary to facts.
• Expressions in commercial name must not be immoral, contrary to public order, national interests and must not be determined in a way that cultural and historical values are harmed.
• Work permit must be taken by applying to Directorate General of Labour of Ministry of Labor and Social Security following completion of registration about the fact that the foreign person will actually work in that company.
• Activity subjects such as manicure- pedicure saloon, skin care, hair design, coffee house as well as hair dresser, barber of the natural person firms (unlimited company) are artisan activity, they can not be registered to Trade Registry and Chamber of Commerce.
